Route sharing
Share your journeys with other users easily, without having to give your account details. Example: send a link to view or edit the trip without authentication.
Facilitate loop creation
The track creation tool is very useful for recording rides in the form of a loop, where the start and end points are the same. At present, however, it's difficult to transform such a track into a route, as you have to create two different addresses nearby. Could we have an official support for loop routes?
Specific sound or "jingle" at the end of a journey.
It's currently a bit difficult to know when you've finished your journey, especially when VoiceOver is deactivated. It would be more intuitive to have a very distinctive and different sound to make sure you've arrived.
Way too many dots in the tracks.
Track logging generates far too many waypoints, making routes very difficult to manage. Many waypoints are also created when a user is stationary, even in RTK Float or Fix mode. The threshold for triggering the next waypoint should probably be raised slightly.
Prevent the route planner from using ways tagged "foot=no"
Some sections of “highway=pedestrian” roads are not accessible to pedestrians, for example, where they intersect with “highway=primary” roads. Example: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/1492169193/history#map=19/48.871045/2.355157 Therefore, the route planner must be prevented from using these routes to ensure that a user does not cross the street without using a crosswalk.
Announce the length of the crossing during the journey.
Hello, Yesterday, while traveling from Maison01 to platform A, in other words from my home to the Vire Normandie train station, during the crossings, the distance of the crossings was not indicated to me, nor was the fact that I was properly aligned with the crossing. Tomorrow I will do it again in the other direction. I will check if I have the same difficulty. Thank you.

GNSS RTK integration
Will connect an RTK GNSS receiver via bluetooth to the SonarVision application, which will geolocate the user very precisely without the need for VPS. This will enable SonarVision to be used in areas not covered by panoramic images from Apple or Google, such as on a hiking trail, or in one's garden. RTK also works at night, unlike VPS! More about RTK: The Wikipedia article on RTK. The frequently asked questions from the Centipède open source network, which provides the corrections necessary for RTK to work. Be able to re-position a misplaced address using VPS or RTK.
Currently, the only way to correct the position of a misplaced address is to use the online editing platform. It would be very useful to be able to use one of the precise geolocation systems to manually re-position an existing address! For public addresses, we could propose a position (which would have to be accepted by a moderator) with this same functionality.
RTK: orientation problem when iPhone is tilted sideways.
In VPS mode, as long as the iPhone is pointed "forwards", SonarVision indicates that you're heading in the right direction. In RTK mode, or in the "Test the sound system" simulator, when the iPhone is pointed forwards, but you put it in landscape mode to the right, for example, the right direction is shifted 90° to the left. So if the iPhone isn't perfectly vertical, you're guided in the wrong direction.
Confusion on the location search page.
Since the new interface, locations are organized by section (Favorites, Addresses, POIs, Metro, Bus, Tram). Each section consists of a maximum of 50 locations. Since this change, several users have asked me how to find a metro or bus. It is not obvious, especially with VoiceOver, that the view can be navigated by header, allowing quick access to the different sections. After about ten swipes, the user thinks that the view consists solely of addresses. It therefore seems reasonable to conclude that this view is not as intuitive to use as it could be. I am therefore opening this topic to discuss this issue and find a better solution/compromise.
Tracing a new route while walking
The GPS would read its position throughout the journey and then create a new SonarVision route, directly usable for the return trip. It will be possible to edit this new route in the support platform if required. If you use the VPS, this will only work in cities covered by the VPS this will work wherever there are Apple or Google panoramic images. If you use RTK, this will work in all areas covered by RTK (virtually all of mainland France). More information on RTK: https://feedback.sonarvision.fr/p/integration-gnss-rtk
Updating the Paris metro system
Add the new metro stations on lines 11 and 14 in Paris.
Choose the type of guidance sound.
Be able to choose between left/right differentiated guidance sounds and non-differentiated sounds. It should be possible to change this setting either in the settings page, or during a trip. Cause: stereo headset users don't necessarily need the differentiated sounds, which can be a bit annoying to listen to.
It's not always possible to select the correct endpoint of a trace
It's hard to say whether this is due to the search radius, which depends on the location's position (the barycenter of the points), or a failed Typesense refresh. Result: users create new addresses instead of using the existing one…
Do not close third-party apps running in the background while using navigation.
Currently, the app mutes any apps that play sound when navigation begins (Music/VoiceVista/Soundscape). Some users would like to use Sonarvision alongside other apps. This is necessary.
Be able to postpone the update
Good evening, It's often when I'm out and about and launching Sonarvision that it suggests I update. I imagine that the updates are not necessarily very heavy, but just in case, personally I'm more used to doing this over the wi-fi. Could there be an update later button so that I can still start browsing and get going?
