Using the publishing platform

The SonarVision Publishing Platform

The basics of the publishing platform.

Last updated 19 days ago

The app.sonarvision.fr platform allows users to review, customize, or correct their routes.

The Shared Account

To access a user’s locations and routes, simply log in to the platform using the same credentials (email and password). This single account is therefore shared between the user who accesses the routes via the mobile app and the planner who creates the routes on the platform.

If the user hasn’t created an account yet, you can sign up at register, then send your login credentials to the user.

You can change your email address or login password at any time at the settings.

Requests

A request is a request for a location or route initiated by the user via the mobile app. Your requests appear on your home screen, allowing you to see at a glance which locations or routes you still need to review.

By clicking “Edit,” you’ll be taken to the Editor (see below).

Once a location or route has been verified, you can click “Confirm” to remove the request from view.

The Editor

The Editor displays a list of locations and routes on the left, which are shown on a map on the right side of the screen. Using the Editor, you can edit all the locations and routes associated with your account.

When a location or route has just been created, its default status is “Pending Verification,” which appears in yellow.

Once you’re satisfied with any changes you’ve made, don’t forget to change the route’s status to “Verified” (which will turn green) to let the user know that you’ve verified that location or route.

Save your work regularly! Any saved changes will be immediately available on the mobile app.

Currently, a route cannot be taken by a user until it has the “Verified” status.

SonarVision’s Business Model

You can create as many locations and routes as you want in your account, but to edit them, you’ll need to use the platform.

The online platform is a paid service with a free trial period that allows users to truly understand SonarVision before having to pay for anything. You can view our prices here. We’re a small team of passionate developers, and we need your support to continue developing SonarVision.

However, access to the mobile app is free, and once routes are created, they remain available and usable in your account, even without a subscription.
