SonarVision Now Free

We’ve just made all the essential features of SonarVision free. We hope this will allow more users to benefit from our precise navigation features.

• You can create and customize as many routes as you like on our online editing platform: Plan a Good Route

• You also have access to Automatic Routes in areas where pedestrian mapping is available on OpenStreetMap.

• You can record precise tracks while walking and then convert them into routes: Record a Track

However, we need your support now more than ever. So if you appreciate what we do, please consider one of the options below.

Individual Subscription

This subscription costs €15 per month and allows you to actively contribute to the funding of SonarVision.

In return, we offer you some great benefits.

Current benefits:

• High-definition Mapbox satellite base map. This base map is available worldwide and can help your loved ones plan better routes more easily.

Benefits currently in development:

• Sharing locations and routes between users.

• Exporting your GPS tracks in GPX format.

• Importing GPS tracks in GPX format to convert them into "SonarVision" routes.

• Customized instructions.

• AI features (obstacle recognition, route creation, description of the surroundings, etc.)

This subscription has no commitment, so you can cancel it at any time.

Our Paid Services

Mapping Plan

Automatic routes are one of the favorite features of SonarVision users. They allow you to generate accessible walking routes instantly and completely on your own. However, they only work in areas where all pedestrian routes—such as sidewalks and crosswalks—have been mapped on OpenStreetMap.

If the area where you want to use SonarVision isn’t mapped, we’re here to help. We offer this service starting at 480€ to map an area of 50 hectares. A customized quote can be provided if you’d like to cover a larger area.

In practical terms, how does it work?

1. We’ll set up a quick meeting to agree on the area to be mapped

2. We’ll send you an invoice to pay.

3. Unless otherwise specified, the mapping is completed within two weeks.

4. You can then immediately start using the automated routes.

Support

You’ll get the most out of SonarVision when you’re assisted by a sighted helper. Here are some of the things he or she can do for you:

• Create and customize routes. If you want to use a specific sidewalk or avoid a tricky pedestrian area, your helper can modify your route with just a few clicks. Additionally, to create a route outside the areas where Automatic Routes are available, you’ll need to ask a family member or friend to draw it manually for you.

• Precise placement of your addresses. It’s often difficult to describe to a machine the exact location you want to go to. With our tools, your caregiver can take the time needed to place your address in the right spot, down to the meter.

• Correcting your recorded GPS tracks. Eliminate errors and artifacts from your GPS tracks recorded with SonarVision to achieve the perfect route.

• Understanding SonarVision’s features. Much of the technology behind SonarVision is visual. By consulting our maps, videos, and guides, your caregiver can help you understand and resolve issues that are difficult to tackle on your own.

The Support Service is designed for users who want assistance from an expert on the SonarVision team with all of these tasks. You’ll also have access to a dedicated contact person if you encounter any issues with the app or your routes.

We strive to ensure our pricing is tailored to everyone’s needs:

• The first month costs €180. This is a training program for new users. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about SonarVision. We’ll set up your first trips and help you add all the addresses you need. We’d be happy to train your loved ones, too!

• We offer a Bundle Deal for the first month of support and the mapping package, priced at €520. This discounted rate gives you everything you need to get started with SonarVision all at once.

• Once the first month of training is complete, you can extend your support for €60 per month. You can pause and resume your support at any time.

Businesses and Organizations

If you represent a nonprofit or a business, you likely have different needs than an individual user.

We can:

• Train your employees or beneficiaries on how to use SonarVision.

• Create pedestrian maps in the area of your choice. Automatic Routes will then be available there for free to everyone.

• Handle the preparation of all routes for your employees or beneficiaries.

• Create high-precision public routes that will make it easier for all SonarVision users to access your buildings using our navigation.

• Provide indoor navigation within your buildings.
