Create a VoiceOver setting specific to SonarVision

Using VoiceOver activities, you can customize the exact behavior of text-to-speech for SonarVision (audio attenuation, speech rate, voice used, etc.) without changing your global preferences.

Creating and Configuring the Activity

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

2. Go to “Accessibilité” → “VoiceOver” → “Activités.”

3. Tap “Add Activity.”

4. In the Name field, enter “SonarVision” (or another name of your choice).

5. Adjust your preferences—at a minimum, for Sonarvision to work properly:

   • Audio → Audio Attenuation: select "During Prompts (10% max)" or "Off."

Pairing with the appSonarVision

1. Go back to your SonarVision activity screen.

2. At the very bottom, in the Auto-Adjustment section, tap Applications.

3. Find and check SonarVision in the list.

Your custom profile will now automatically apply every time you open SonarVision, and will be replaced by your default settings as soon as you switch to another app.
