Purchase the kit from SonarVision
It is now possible to purchase a turnkey RTK kit through SonarVision.
If you are not entirely sure about the advantages and disadvantages of using an RTK with SonarVision, or if you simply want to order your RTK, visit make an appointment with us or send us an email at contact@sonarvision.fr.
Obtaining an RTK without going through SonarVision
Following numerous questions raised by RTK episode on Oxytude, we have written this guide to explain how you can purchase an RTK receiver at a lower cost.

Our recommendation: the Handheld Surveyor Kit
To make life easier for these customers, Ardusimple has created a quick start kit compatible with iOS: the Handheld Surveyor Kit.
This kit has everything you need to get started! To assemble it, simply screw the antenna into the case, taking great care.
This kit will cost you around €600 including tax, takes only a few minutes to assemble, and can be used as soon as you turn on SonarVision. However, to install our recommended configuration with the U-Center software, you will need the help of a tech-savvy person.
You should also expect below-average accessibility, as an Ardusimple RTK receiver does not have an ON/OFF button and you will have to fiddle with cables.
You can easily repair it in case of failure by replacing the defective part, but for customer service, you will need to contact the supplier directly.
However, in terms of accuracy, it is exactly the same as more expensive solutions.
I recommend purchasing the battery grip accessory to power your RTK. On iPhones 15 and later, which have a USB-C port, you can also power your RTK directly from your iPhone. This does not work on iPhones 14 and earlier!
To hold the RTK and your iPhone while you're on the go, we now offer a specially designed bag: Sacoche de transport Feeldom
It would be great if ArduSimple offered a model with a battery and a 5Hz configuration installed by default! Send them an email and tell them we sent you: info@ardusimple.com
Configuration with u-center
This is the complicated part, and we strongly recommend that you have someone with you who is willing to spend a few hours tinkering with obscure computer software.
If you follow this tutorial exactly, you should be fine:
Here is the recommended configuration for SonarVision that I mention in the video. Install it on your RTK with U-Center:

Good luck, it may take a while the first time!
Connecting to SonarVision
In the settings, select RTK and connect your device.
Still in the settings, change the geolocation engine from Automatic to RTK.
Now all you have to do is find a location with a clear sky and wait for SonarVision to switch to RTK float. You are now geolocated with excellent accuracy and can start a route as you would with VPS!
After about 30 seconds, and if the sky is clear, SonarVision should switch to RTK fixed. This is the highest level of accuracy you can achieve with this device, and generally corresponds to an accuracy of less than 10 centimeters.
As for NTRIP corrections, SonarVision only connects to centipede network, but it finds the RTK base closest to you and connects to it.
Happy navigating!
